Resident Evil have revealed that they’ll be unveiling a special BABYMETAL collab in 2026.

To celebrate the iconic Japanese horror’s 30th anniversary next year, they’ll be “releasing collaborative goods” according to a video update from the game’s Lady Dimitrescu. “I am here to give you some very special news,” she reveals in a social media teaser clip, which was posted over the weekend. “It’s almost Resident Evil’s 30th anniversary and to celebrate, Resident Evil and BABYMETAL will be releasing collaborative goods. You can get your grubby little hands on some Resident Evil and BABYMETAL merchandise…”

In other BABYMETAL news, back in August the trio released their 4/5-rated fifth album METAL FORTH. Speaking to Kerrang!, MOMOMETAL explained that, “We want to take the music we’ve built so far and keep challenging ourselves by exploring even more diverse genres. We created this album with the desire to break new ground.”

“New songs are an invitation of new challenges for me,” SU-METAL enthused. “This will expand our potential, so I am always excited to record. This time was no exception. I look forward to people hearing the various voices and expressions that I have tried.”
