Seven more bands have just been added to this summer's Bloodstock Open Air line-up.

The mighty Venom Prison have announced a slot on the Ronnie James Dio main stage on the Friday of the festival, the band enthusing: "Venom Prison are honoured to be invited to play at the legendary Bloodstock Festival again, having first appeared at the 2017 edition. This will be our first show in nearly two years since the world was shut down by the pandemic. We can’t wait to step out onstage again and cause utter destruction. See you in the pit."

Venom Prison join fellow heavyweights Napalm Death (who are replacing Bloodywood as Friday night headliners on the Sophie Lancaster Stage), Borstal, King Creature, Primitai, Terra IV and Internal Conflict.
