If the unreal announcement of Ozzy Osbourne’s final show with Black Sabbath wasn’t enough, Ghost have also dropped a very big update themselves.

The band’s iconic frontman is set to be a part of the all-star day at Villa Park on July 5 – but it won’t be as we know him. In fact, it seems as though Ghost have decided to surprise-reveal their next singer as Papa V Perpetua, with his name sitting between Faith No More’s Mike Bordin and Rudy Sarzo on the ridiculously stacked gig poster.

“We wish to inform you V is coming…” Ghost say in a brief social media update. “To Birmingham on July 5th. Slide for more information.”

So, farewell to Papa Emeritus IV, and we’ll soon be able to say hello to Papa V Perpetua…
