Watch Turnstile’s Brendan Yates perform piano duet of UNDERWATER BOI
At TAC’s 10th Annual Talent Show in New York, Brendan Yates teamed up with Liam Benzvi to perform a beautiful version of Turnstile’s UNDERWATER BOI.
Hail unity!
The hardcore scene has always provided a safe space for the community. But our recent cover stars Turnstile took the tradition one step further at a recent show in New York City.
On May 5, the band played to a packed house at Warsaw in Brooklyn, New York, closing out a bill filled out by Culture Abuse, Razorbumps, and Touché Amoré. The vibe in the room could only be described as euphoric, as a steady stream of guys and gals crowd-surfed throughout each band’s set. When each surfer made his or her way to the stage, security would carefully move him or her to the side.
But when a disabled fan reached the front of the venue and was separated from his walker, the Turnstile lads invited him onto the stage to dance with them by their sides.
As the devoted fan head-banged through two songs, the elated crowd lit up (as did their phones). He even got to watch the rest of the show from the side of the stage.

It’s pretty clear that Turnstile has nothing but the deepest respect and appreciation for their fans!
