As well as their Opiate 30th anniversary celebrations with a reimagined single and short film coming very soon, Tool have just announced a massive vinyl edition of 2019's Fear Inoculum album.

The band's new 'ultra deluxe' version will land on April 8, and features five LPs with 'new, extensive' artwork by Adam Jones. Each disc will have a unique etching, with the first disc featuring Fear Inoculum and Pneuma, the second with Invincible, the third having Legion Inoculant and Descending, the fourth with Culling Voices and Chocolate Chip Trip, and the fifth compromised of 7empest and Mockingbeat.

At the time of the record's release, Kerrang! awarded Fear Inoculum the full 5/5, and said that 'what we have is an album that pushes and challenges its creators and its audience in new ways, the finer details of which will probably take another 13 years to fully unwrap and appreciate'. And surely this ultra deluxe version will be a whole new way to do just that…
