Tool to headline South American Lollapalooza festivals in 2025 with Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake and more
At long last, Tool will make their live debut in Chile, Argentina and Brazil in March next year…
Maynard James Keenan also confirms he's working on Puscifer.
It's been several months since we had an update on Tool's progress regarding their new album – and in that time they've announced a ton of European tour dates. Now, though, the talk is happily back on new music.
In a surprising (and exciting) update from frontman Maynard James Keenan, the frontman reports that his vocals for the follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days were actually finished "months ago," ahead of A Perfect Circle's gigs at the end of 2018.
"Update- Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago," the vocalist informed fans on Twitter. "Then U.S.-UK-Euro run w #APC. If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now. Meanwhile write/film/track w @puscifer for #puscifer2020 & troll the band FBs with wine posts. #funnyshit #whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking"
Sneaky, sneaky…
