Thy Art Is Murder have played their first show with what appears to be their new singer, after firing CJ McMahon last week.

Last night (September 27), the band took to the stage in Oberhausen, Germany, the opening night of their European tour with Whitechapel, Fit For An Autopsy and Spite, with Aversions Crown frontman Tyler Miller handling the mic.

CJ was sacked from Thy Art Is Murder last Friday, on the same day that the band's new album, Godlike, was released. This came following an anti-trans post on the singer's social media, for which he apologised, but the band called it "the straw that broke the camel's back" and "just another symptom of the drawn out breakdown in his character and judgement".

On the album's release, digital versions were found to have re-recorded vocals from an unknown party. It's yet to be confirmed if these are Tyler.

The tour continues through Europe before hitting the UK on October 22. Dates are...

October

22 London O2 Forum Kentish Town
23 Manchester O2 Ritz
24 Birmingham O2 Institute
25 Glasgow SWG3
26 Bristol SWX
