Dolly Parton has seen some of the biggest success of her career following the release of her first-ever rock album, selling a whopping 143,000 units worldwide.

The country legend – who has previously been inducted into both the Rock & Roll and Country Music Hall Of Fame – unveiled the star-studded Rockstar on November 17, and has stormed into the charts as well as having her biggest sales week in 30 years (since 1993’s Slow Dancing With The Moon).

“Wow, this is a big thrill!” she says. “I owe a thank you to the fans who have always been there for me. Their support made this achievement possible. I’d also like to thank my producer Kent Wells, all the wonderful artists, musicians, and engineers who brought their talents to this project.”

Speaking of those wonderful artists and musicians, Rockstar features appearances from Rob Halford, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Sting, Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Stevie Nicks and so many more.

Dolly also teamed up with Måneskin for a new version of Jolene as part of an exclusive version of the record.
