The Callous Daoboys unleash band “love letter”, Distracted By The Mona Lisa

The Callous Daoboys have released a new single and video, Distracted By The Mona Lisa.

“There have been countless times in my life where I have felt married to my passion,” explains frontman Carson Pace of the inspiration behind this latest effort, which follows March single Lemon. “It’s been detrimental, painful, and has forced me to sacrifice a normal life.

“This song is me committing to being married to that passion, regardless of the consequences. It’s less a spit in the face of normality, and more a love letter to my own band.”

Distracted By The Mona Lisa is taken from the Daoboys’ forthcoming album I Don’t Want To See You In Heaven, which is due out on May 16 via MNRK Heavy. Check out the new single – and accompanying music video – below:
