Static Dress unleash new single and video, face

Watch the video for Static Dress’ incredible single face – the band’s first proper new material since last year’s standalone track crying.

Just like buses, two brilliant Static Dress songs have arrived out of nowhere and in quick succession.

Following last week’s extension of their live-only track death to the overground, today (April 3) the Leeds crew drop official new single face.

It follows last year’s standalone single crying, and hears them properly welcome guitarist Vincent Weight to the fold (Vincent has previously worked with Static Dress in a behind-the-scenes capacity on various engineering and writing duties).

As for what it’s about, a press release explains that face uses ‘a metaphor of a car crash to detail a turbulent relationship’, and ‘explores the horror that can unfold in the pursuit of love, and the often destructive fallout when the results come to light’.
