PVRIS drop re-recorded version of My House with Courtney LaPlante
“It feels full circle now…” PVRIS have teamed up with Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante for a brilliant new version of their 2014 single My House.
Spiritbox guitarist Mike Stringer is giving away some of his gear to raise money for two Los Angeles charities.
Spiritbox have launched their own charity raffle to raise funds for those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles and Altadena Girls.
Posting on social media, guitarist Mike Stringer said, "Southern California has faced devastating wildfires over the past week and a half, and I want to not only donate, but try to raise as much as possible to help. Watching the destruction and its impact has been heartbreaking."
He went on to add that Spiritbox bassist Josh Gilbert lost his home in the fires.
Raffle tickets cost $20 and the grand prize includes an Aristides 070R, a Jackson Pro Plus Series 7-string, a Fender Tonemaster Pro and a 50-watt EVH 5150 head.
"I used these items on tour or in the studio," said Mike, "and I’m thrilled to see them go to a new home while supporting these incredible organisations."
Spiritbox's new album, Tsunami Sea – the follow-up to 2021’s breakout LP Eternal Blue – is due out on March 7, 2025 via Pale Chord in partnership with Rise Records.
