Following a rocky start to blink-182’s long-awaited European tour, with Travis Barker having to rush back home to America to be with his wife Kourtney Kardashian as she underwent emergency surgery, the drummer is now not only happily on this side of the pond, but he’s spreading the good vibes.
On the first day of blink’s tour, which kicked off at the Sportpaleis in Belgium on September 8, Travis made his way out of the venue to personally gift a fan his drumsticks, having clocked that they had a sign saying, “Can I have a drumstick?” Sharing a video of the wholesome, emotional moment on social media, the drummer very casually wrote “1st day of tour”, but replying on TikTok the lucky fan – who has the username Phant0m – shared just what it meant: “This was the happiest moment of my entire life! thank you forever.”
As many other followers commented, it was a lovely gesture that will have had such an impact. “What it must feel like to do something so small but make somebody’s whole year what an amazing feeling it must be,” said a fan with the username b, while Ginny Lee said: “That five minute walk he took to make someone’s dream come true that’s amazing.” And Lisa J 2022uk posted, “Such a kind gentle soul.
