A24 have unveiled the first sneak peek at Halsey – alongside Mia Goth – in MaXXXine.
Just under a month on from revealing that Halsey would be starring in MaXXXine, A24 have shared the first look at the musician in the movie.
We don’t know much yet about Halsey’s role in the upcoming Ti West flick (the third instalment in A24’s X franchise, following X and Pearl), but the first sneak peek image shows a glamorous Hollywood vibe, with Halsey wearing a fancy fur coat as she strolls along with Mia Goth’s Maxine. The caption reads: “The life she deserves #MaXXXine” while Halsey excitedly posted the image and wrote: “A lil first look at MaXXXine!!!”
According to Deadline, MaXXXine ‘reverses the franchise’s trajectory through time to pick with Maxine after the violent events of X, as their sole survivor continues her journey towards fame, setting out to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles’. As well as Halsey and Mia Goth, it will star Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.
