Foo Fighters announce huge 2024 U.S. stadium tour
Foo Fighters are hitting stadiums across America next summer – and they’re bringing along the Pretenders, The Hives, Mammoth WVH, Amyl And The Sniffers, Alex G and L7 at various dates…
At this weekend’s Radio 2 in the Park, Foo Fighters’ pal Rick Astley decided to “murder” (but not really) their classic single Everlong…
Rick Astley and Foo Fighters go waaaaaay back now – from performing in London and Japan together in 2017, to Rick covering their music in lockdown. And that connection is still seemingly going strong, with the pop singer-songwriter performing their single Everlong over the weekend.
On Saturday, September 17 at Radio 2 in the Park in Leicester, Rick and his live band played a seven-song set of hits, with the 1997 The Colour And The Shape classic sandwiched nicely in the middle. Introducing Everlong, Rick told the crowd in attendance: “So… I like playing other people’s songs. Are you in the mood for us to murder one of the best songs ever?!” Of course, he didn’t murder it at all, and after finishing up he enthused: “Can I get a ‘hell yeah!’, Leicester?!”
HELL YEAH!
