See Ghost play Spillways and Call Me Little Sunshine live for the first time

Ghost debuted two Impera songs – Spillways and Call Me Little Sunshine – live for the first time on the opening night of their UK tour.

At Manchester’s AO Arena on April 9 the band aired four songs from Impera in total (Kaisarion and Hunter's Moon were the other two) out of a fantastic 19-song setlist, with previous albums Meliora and Prequelle each having five songs performed, plus their cover of Enter Sandman and more.

Recently speaking to Kerrang! about Ghost's return to the UK and their special relationship with fans here, Tobias Forge enthused: “There has never been a moment – whether supporting [another band] or headlining – where I didn’t feel we had something special with a British crowd. I’m really happy that the clairvoyance of those who told us it wouldn’t work out turned out to be wrong. I’ve always felt we have a strong fanbase over there, but you never take it for granted. You have to do better every time you come and prove yourself, because that’s part of this job.”
