Rockin’1000, aka the ‘biggest rock band on Earth’, have just announced a mega 2026 UK headline gig.

Three-hundred members of the collective will head to Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday, March 7 for a show that Kerrang! has previously witnessed and described as a “a spectacle to rival that of an Olympic opening ceremony”.

Founder Fabio Zaffagnini enthuses: “The UK’s music culture is unrivalled, and Manchester is one of the world’s great music cities. Bringing 1,000 musicians together under one roof creates a powerful emotional connection for everyone involved, onstage and in the crowd. We cannot wait to share this experience with UK fans.”

As Fabio suggests, often there are ways more than 300 players per show, but due to the venue configuration, Manchester is slightly more limited in this sense. However, if you fancy applying to become one of the lucky few hundred performers, you can do so at rockin1000.com/join-the-band.
