If, like us, you’re staring out of a gloomy window right now and dreaming about festival season, then get excited: Takedown Festival 2026 have added even more bands to their line-up, and revealed stage splits so you can start planning your weekend.

The independent rock and metal bash – which hits Portsmouth Guildhall from April 3-4 – is welcoming some of the most exciting rising bands in the scene at the moment: Artio and Overgrown to name just two, not to mention Carsick, Pavé, Vexed, Wall and King Kracken. The latter pair will take on the Total Rock Stage on the Friday of the fest, while elsewhere you can catch Artio opening up the Kerrang! Stage (getting the party started for the first-ever PRESIDENT festival headline set) on the Saturday. Meanwhile, Overgrown, Pavé and Carsick will play on the Total Rock Stage, and you can see Vexed putting on a killer showing at the Metal For Good Stage.

Of course, they join everyone from Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons and The Wildhearts to WARGASM, As It Is, Graphic Nature and Mouth Culture.

“We’re pleased to share this year’s stage splits, highlighting a strong and diverse line-up across all stages,” enthuse Takedown’s own Kai and Sarah Harris. “We are very proud of the 2026 edition and can’t wait to see everyone having a great time. See you in the pit.”

We seriously can’t wait…
