Queens Of The Stone Age announce big UK summer show, headlining Rock N Roll Circus
Queens Of The Stone Age will headline Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus at the Don Valley Bowl, opening up the festival on August 27.
Despite clashing with Elton John’s massive headline set, see Queens Of The Stone Age’s Glastonbury crowd go absolutely wild for A Song For The Dead…
Queens Of The Stone Age have been trending online following last night’s explosive set at Glastonbury.
Despite clashing with Elton John – officially one of the most-watched Glasto sets ever – Josh Homme and co. pulled a huge crowd and unleashed pure chaotic joy over on the Other Stage on Sunday evening, with footage from set-closer Song For The Dead particularly catching the internet’s eye.
In a two-minute 20-second video uploaded to social media, fans can be seen circle-pitting as the iconic song starts to roar into life, before Josh stops everyone from peaking too soon: “Wait a minute, I haven’t done shit yet!” he says. “Stop for a second! Stop! I haven’t done shit. I run this fucking place – you don’t go until I say ‘Go…’”
Now behold as that riff and those drums kick in, and see if you aren’t covered in goosebumps by the end of the video…
