It’s been nearly three months since PRESIDENT announced themselves to the world, by being added to the 2025 Download Festival line-up without a note of music to their name.
Today – Friday, May 16 – that all changes, with the band’s debut single In The Name Of The Father officially dropping. Now we know what they sound like, then, but before they make their live splash at Donington Park next month, we got in contact with the mysterious group and asked what the hell is going on. This is what they said…
My fellow citizens,
Today, we extend our thanks to Kerrang! – a trusted voice in the republic of rock – for their continued support and belief in our vision. Their platform has amplified our message, and for that, we are grateful.
But let it be known – this is merely the opening chapter.
We did not come to whisper. We came to build.
A movement. A sound. A future.
There are plans in motion — loud ones. Unignorable ones. And soon, the world will hear them.
Remain alert. Stay united. And above all — stay loud.
