Guitar YouTuber Andrew Baena has been downtuning classic metal for a while now. His most recent 9-string reimagining is a Pantera medley tuned to drop-Q or something equally heavy.
Worth a listen, if only to prove to yourself that low-endness doesn't necessarily equal heaviness.
