Megadeth have released their new version of Ride The Lightning
“I think we did it at least as good – it’s a little faster…” With Megadeth’s final album dropping today, it means their cover of Metallica’s Ride The Lightning is also out!
‘A testament to the enduring impact their music has had on a global legion of fans…’ Metallica and Dr. Martens have teamed up for two pairs of boots and one pair of shoes – two of which feature Pushead designs.
Metallica have just released a collab with Dr. Martens.
This new collection – which lands today, January 29 – consists of a total of three styles. There’s the widely-available 1460 Boots and the 1461 shoe, both featuring tour graphics by Pushead – the former reflecting the band’s 1989 Damaged Justice tour, and the latter featuring artwork from the 1986 Damage Inc. tour. Then, there’s also a very sleek Fifth Member Exclusive Tonal Logo 1460 Boot, with a ’Tallica logo on the ankle and ‘5th Member’ on the shoelaces.
In an accompanying photo campaign on the Dr. Martens website, the legendary footwear company write: “Formed in 1981, Metallica are still releasing albums that stand as cultural landmarks for a band that continues to grow and redefine itself. Our new collection is a testament to the enduring impact their music has had on a global legion of fans. This is for everyone who can answer, ‘How does it feel to be alive?’”
The limited-edition Dr. Martens x Metallica drop is available now. Check it out below:
