Meet Me @ The Altar return with new single, Straight Up (Needy)
After going independent and announcing a line-up change earlier this year, Meet Me @ The Altar are now back with new single Straight Up (Needy) from their upcoming EP Worried Sick.
Following September’s Straight Up (Needy), pop-punk duo Meet Me @ The Altar have dropped another new single and video, Karma.
Meet Me @ The Altar have unveiled their second new single of 2025.
Entitled Karma, this latest banger follows last month’s Straight Up (Needy), and continues the duo’s fresh chapter after the departure of guitarist Téa Campbell in April. Both tracks are presumably taken from MM@TA’s new EP Worried Sick, which is due out on December 5.
Recently, vocalist Edith Victoria took to Instagram to reveal that creating Worried Sick was “a huge part of that journey and helped me slowly glue the pieces of my heart back together. I didn’t hold anything back while writing this project, and let every emotion I had been feeling the past year and a half out on the pages. Anger, hatred, regret, sadness, jealousy, spite, heartbreak, pain.
“Even though lots of my worst fears came true, I wouldn’t change a thing because the lessons I learned are worth millions,” the singer added. “We now have people around us who want us to make the music we want to make. People who don’t care about the number of streams they think the chosen sound will bring. That’s all that matters, right? Creating what you love no matter what. I sincerely hope you enjoy all the heavy, punky, in your face sounds and feelings of this EP.”
