After much, much waiting, Marmozets have finally made their triumphant comeback with exhilarating new single A Kiss From A Mother.
The band’s first new music in seven years arrives today
– Wednesday, November 5 – via Nettwerk Music Group, and came about
after vocalist Becca Bottomley (née Macintyre) and guitarist Jack Bottomley
became parents and got married following 2018’s Knowing What You Know
Now album. They eventually joined back up with guitarist Sam Macintyre and
drummer Josh Macintyre, along with producers Jonathan Gilmore and Andy Hawkins, for
what is now easily one of the most exciting returns in rock in all of 2025.
Becca explains of A Kiss From A Mother: “The message of the song is to make sure you listen, rather than just shoot straight back. Probably everyone can relate to the idea of not letting some advice go in one ear and out the other, let it actually immerse in you. As for my voice, that’s just my spirit coming out! I’m not playing a character; I’m giving it all that I’ve got.”
