Madina Lake Have Released A New Single, Love Is War

Ahead of the release of their upcoming five-track EP The Beginning Of New Endings in September, Madina Lake have dropped a single new reminiscent of their beloved debut album From Them, Through Us, To You.

"There's something about this track that takes me all the way back to Mark Trombino's garage studio in 2005 where/when we made our first record From Them, Through Us, To You," explains frontman Nathan Leone of the song, which goes by the name Love Is War. "It's gritty and riffy but definitely captures the magic of that time for us."

"Love Is War reminds me of my favourite Smashing Pumpkins era when they were writing riffy rock with a magic sparkle over the top and full of landmine 'holy shit' moments," says bassist – and twin brother – Matthew.

Discussing Madina Lake's new EP as a whole, meanwhile, he continues: "Ever since we bid the world our farewell in 2011, we’ve struggled to adjust to a life without writing, releasing, and performing music together."

"Over the years, we've developed an unbreakable bond with Madina fans all over the world and we're thrilled to reconnect through new music," adds Nathan.
