We asked Loathe why it’s taken them so long to release new music
Armed with killer new single Gifted Every Strength, Loathe made their long-awaited return this month. But how comes there’s been such a big gap between releases?
Joining Spiritbox on the road for the Tsunami Sea North American Tour, Loathe have been opening their support set with a brand-new track…
At long last, Loathe have premiered a brand-new song live!
While out on the road supporting Spiritbox on the band’s current Tsunami Sea North American Tour, the Liverpool gang have been opening with a mysterious, unknown new track – first debuting it at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas on April 3, and playing it each night since.
It marks their first new material in a loooong while, following 2020 breakout album I Let It In And It Took Everything, and 2021’s The Things They Believe instrumental LP. In August 2022, Loathe cancelled a headline tour and explained that they were “currently in the penultimate stages of completing our new album”. Since then, of course, fans have been absolutely desperate for another record – and now it looks like we may be on the home stretch in terms of an official announcement?!
