Loathe reveal 25-date U.S. headline tour
Loathe are set to return to the United States in the autumn, with support coming from Trauma Ray and Spy.
Once they’ve wrapped up their autumn U.S. run, Loathe will be hitting the road in November and December for a proper headline tour.
Loathe have just announced their first proper UK and European headline tour since 2021.
Following a 25-date U.S. tour in the autumn, the superstar metallers will hit the road in November and December, stopping off in Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Eindhoven, Paris, Cologne, Esch-sur-Alzette, Munich and Berlin.
They’ll be joined by Zetra and Love Is Noise for the whole thing, and tickets go on sale this Friday, August 29 from 10am.
Of course, we can assume we’ll get to hear latest single Gifted Every Strength in all its glory, but will they have any more new stuff for us by then?
Speaking to Kerrang! in May about the time spent between releasing new music, singer Kadeem France laughed that it was just “Life, really!” that got in the way, while bassist Feisal El-Khazragi hinted that it took them a second to find themselves again after the incredible success of the last few years.
“The fact is that we were changing as people so much, and that was changing our tastes,” Feisal explained. “It’s taken a while for the dust to settle within our tastes and to land on something that we felt comfortable with, that we can put out and present as a band.”
Anyway, catch them at the following:

In June, the band made their main stage debut at Download Festival. In our review of the set, we said that, “Heavy as they can be, Loathe’s strength often lies in what they don’t do, holding back that power only to hit you with it threefold when you think they’re done. They switch from vast post-rock to ocean-sized, dissonant metal with apparent ease. Download witnesses towers of heaviness collapsing into subtly melodic bits, glitchy rhythms briefly stirring the surface. With Loathe, not knowing where stuff’s going is part of the fun…”
