Watch Kelly Clarkson cover Foo Fighters’ Learn To Fly for her Kellyoke series

The newest episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show was a rocking affair, as the host tackled a Foo Fighters banger as well as inviting out special guest Jack Black for a truly wholesome surprise.

Up first, as part of her Kellyoke series – which in the past has seen the pop superstar perform songs by Metallica, Soundgarden and more – Kelly and her My Band Y’all covered 1999’s There Is Nothing Left To Lose favourite Learn To Fly. And she did a typically brilliant job, keeping it faithful but also throwing in some impeccable high notes.

And in the chat show segment, Kelly also caught up with Netflix star Tanner Smith from Love On The Spectrum, who is a huge Jack Black fan (like, seriously, there’s probably no bigger fan in the world based on this video). Thankfully the actor/musician was in town to promote A Minecraft Movie with the rest of the cast, and so Jack came out to surprise Tanner in an exchange that’ll honestly make your cheeks hurt from smiling.
