From Dimebag to David Bowie: The icons who inspired Baroness’ Gina Gleason
When Baroness’ Gina Gleason plays her guitar, you listen. She’s the coolest and the best. Hardly surprising, when she’s looking up to icons as rad as these…
"It's rum with a touch of evil," according to the band.
It feels like there are endless bands releasing their own branded beer at the moment – and with good reason. Now, heavy metal's finest, Judas Priest, are getting in on the alcoholic action with a new signature spiced rum.
The beverage – which, unfortunately, is currently only available in Sweden right now – "packs a metal-like punch with spicy notes of arrack, vanilla, burnt sugar and raisins", according to the band.
"We are thrilled to announce the release of a new rum produced together with Brands For Fans," they say in a statement. "The complex nature of this new blend and the general versatility of rum goes hand in hand with the music produced by us over the last 50 years. It's rum with a touch of evil."

The news of their latest endeavour follows Priest's inclusion in next year's Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame nominees.
The band have been nominated alongside UK rock’n’roll heroes Motörhead, industrial pioneers Nine Inch Nails, and Seattle legends Soundgarden.
In an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, frontman Rob Halford said: "It would be wonderful [to be inducted]. I think it's one of the greatest accolades you can be given, because you're in the company of musical giants.
"When we were first nominated, I kind of went crazy and I was texting my friends and [sending] e-mails and going, 'You've got to vote! You've got to vote! And then we didn't get in! I was disappointed. But it is what it is. This time, I haven't really been checking the voting that much, but apparently, we're in the Top 5 right now, for the fan votes. Which speaks volumes about our wonderful fans around the world that are voting every day."
You can vote once a day for your favourite artist until January 10, 2020.
Next year’s Rock Hall induction ceremony will take place on May 2, 2020, at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
