Watch Metallica perform Master Of Puppets in front of just 500 fans
Metallica have shared official footage of Master Of Puppets from last month’s tiny New York show in a tent, which saw them play their ‘most intimate gig in a decade’.
Over the weekend, Turnstile shared some incredibly wholesome footage of Judas Priest and Metallica’s frontmen looking absolutely enraptured during their Tons Of Rock set.
Just like the rest of the world, Rob Halford and James Hetfield are clearly big fans of Turnstile.
The Judas Priest and Metallica legends have gone viral for enjoying a set by the Baltimore hardcore punks from the side of the stage at Norway festival Tons Of Rock over the weekend.
Captured on video and posted by Turnstile, you can see Rob taking it all in, while Papa Het next to him seems particularly pumped during the band’s performance of T.L.C. (TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION), fist-pumping to the ‘T.L.C.’ chants.
James and Priest were involved in a similarly lovely moment of viral fanboying last year, too, as the ’Tallica hero was spotted having a blast to Priest’s Power Trip set.
“I just kind of realised that we’re down in the very front, looking up,” James later said. “You got Rob Halford riding out on a motorcycle, and there’s fans behind us, looking at us. They’re watching us enjoy that. How cool! I guess that’s pretty cool, you know, but we’re fans at the end of the day. We wanted to be in the mix and see it. So it’s been a fantastic weekend.”
So by our calculations, now we just need Turnstile and Judas Priest to watch Metallica together, and the circle is complete…
