Last night Download Festival unveiled its first wave of bands for 2024, including two brand-new headliners! Topping the bill next year we'll see a returning Avenged Sevenfold alongside Queens Of The Stone Age and Fall Out Boy who'll be stepping up to fabled Donington headliner status.

But Download is about more than its headliners, and the initial announcement saw more than 80 bands revealed, spanning generations and genres. The Offspring, ZULU, Sum 41, Dying Wish, While She Sleeps, Pest Control, Billy Talent, Heriot, Bad Omens, Scene Queen, Polyphia, Pinkshift… Basically, if you've been paying attention to the alternative scene for the past few years, Download has you covered.

And to celebrate the occasion, Download took over Phonica record store in Soho, London, for a special launch party, full of graffiti, an abundance of neon, coffins, motorbikes, dodgems and a bath full of rubber ducks!

The exclusive guestlist saw some of the hottest new acts in the UK and beyond come down to celebrate all things Download. Check out the black carpet (natch) below featuring a host of K! friends and favourites like Mimi Barks, Kid Bookie, Bambie Thug, WARGASM, Oxymorrons, Cody Frost and ALT BLK ERA.

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park on June 14 – 16, 2024. Get your tickets now.
