Boy oh boy, is it good to have The K! Pit back. And what better band to kick off the year than The Callous Daoboys?

You could have forgiven the 50 lucky fans in attendance at London dive bar Blondies for a bit of rustiness for our first K! Pit of 2024, but they showed absolutely no sign of that whatsoever, immediately going wild as the band launched into Star Baby.

And from Pushing The Pink Envelope to A Brief Article Regarding Time Loops it was a relentless seven-song set from the Atlanta crew, more than living up to our description of the band as “one of the most thrilling new acts in heavy music”, which we said well over a year ago.
