On Sunday night (March 6), Taking Back Sunday and Alkaline Trio brought their brilliant, sold-out UK tour – with support from Destroy Boys – to a close with a special evening at London's iconic O2 Academy Brixton.

After hitting venues in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham, things finished up triumphantly in the capital, with Matt Skiba calling the gig "a career highlight and total fucking blast".

"Thanks a million one and all who attended the UK shows Alkaline Trio just played over there," the Alkaline Trio frontman wrote to fans on Instagram. "It is always a very special treat to come play in the UK which became a second home to us very early on in our band's touring life. This time ’round was the best one yet for many reasons but mostly because of the unreal crowds and Destroy Boys and Taking Back Sunday."

TBS, meanwhile, posted: "Our first tour in the UK since 2019 couldn’t have been any sweeter than it was this past week with Alkaline Trio and Destroy Boys. Thanks to all of our UK fans for your ears, voices and dedication. Until next time…"
