Album review: Cult Of The Lamb – Hymns Of The Unholy
An all-star line-up turn the smash indie game’s futuristic soundtrack into sublime metal bangers.
From Throes Of Perdition to What The Dead Men Say to Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr – here’s what Trivium played on the opening night of their UK leg.
After various delays, Trivium have finally made it across the pond for a sold-out run across the United Kingdom, climaxing at London's famed Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith.
Following a handful of shows in Dublin, the Floridian metallers headed to Belfast last night for a headline performance at Ulster Hall, slaying the capacity crowd with a stonking 16-song setlist.
With an opening gambit straight from their superb breakthrough Ascendancy, it was a true career-spanning set, unleashing tracks from The Crusade, Shogun and latest album In The Court Of The Dragon. The set also saw the live debut proper of The Revanchrist from 2017's The Sin And The Sentence.
If you're heading to one of Trivium's UK shows, here's a look at what's in store. Although it should be said, they've been mixing things up between Dublin and Belfast, so expect a few more surprises thrown in down the line.
