Halsey has followed up the release of last week's live video for honey with another excellent clip – this time of the song You asked for this.
The track is taken from one of Kerrang!'s 50 best albums of 2021 – the incredible, Nine Inch Nails-produced If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power – and is accompanied here by a dazzling light show and typically compelling performance.
Last month, Halsey shared of the meaning behind the song: "You asked for this is a conversation between the me who is becoming a mom saying 'grow up' and the part that so desperately wants to remain a child. Wondering if we can co-exist, despite the massive change."
No wonder it's delivered here with such power.
