Guns N’ Roses reveal 2025 tour with Public Enemy, Rival Sons and Sex Pistols
Guns N’ Roses have announced a huge new headline run for next year, entitled the Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour.
Love Guns N' Roses? Love vinyl? Well have we got some good news for you!
Hi-fi manufacturer Pro-Ject have teamed up with Guns N' Roses to release a custom-designed turntable based on the band's iconic logo.
The record player is based on Pro-Ject's Essential III turntable but has a superior acrylic Acryl-IT E platter with the GNR artwork printed directly onto it, along with a sleek black design and smaller logo on the player itself.
"Guns N’ Roses are a staple of the rock music scene," say Pro-Ject. "Everything in a classic GnR track sounds real, everything fits together and everything sounds better than many modern recordings. So, what better way to experience their iconic sound in the modern era than with an award-winning turntable that’s designed in their honour?
"What makes the Guns N’ Roses Record Player unique is its appearance," they continue. "For the first time with one of their turntables, Pro-Ject have directly printed artwork onto the Acryl-IT E platter.
"Using a meticulous printing process, the instantly recognisable Guns N’ Roses logo fills the entire 12” platter surface. The end result is a yellow hue that glows above the gloss black MDF plinth, which itself features a small logo underneath the tonearm’s rest position."
GNR aren't the first artist to be given the Pro-Ject's Essential III treatment. The company's artist series also includes custom turntables based on The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
The Pro-Ject Guns N’ Roses record player will be available in April and costs £429.
