Guns N’ Roses reveal 2025 tour with Public Enemy, Rival Sons and Sex Pistols

A Guns N’ Roses fan says that the band’s rumoured “new” track Hard School is set for imminent release. In a since deleted tweet of the fan and Axl, the accompanying caption read: "A fan met Axl Rose after the second GUNS N' ROSES show in Atlantic City, NJ last night. She said he invited her backstage and they had a beer together. She also said she asked him about Hard Skool. He played the song for her and said they are releasing it soon."
Some have questioned the fan’s story, but Axl has a long history of playing fans new tunes going back to the early ‘90s. And Guns have already released one "new" song in recent weeks, dropping Absurd (Silkworms) at the start of August. Like that song, this latest reported track is one from the Chinese Democracy recording sessions, originally with a working title of Jackie Chan and also known as Hard Skool.
When we started searching for ‘Hard Skool’ on Spotify, there’s no track, but one of the suggested results is Guns N’ Roses’ official channel, and the band have also been rehearsing the song, although they have yet to play it on their current U.S. tour.
Meanwhile, last week Guns were joined onstage by Dave Grohl for a closing run-through of Paradise City during their set at Bottlerock Napa festival, the organisers of which promptly cut the power before the song was done due to strict curfew.
