It's been a massive year for grandson – from writing a song for The Suicide Squad to working with the likes of Tom Morello and Kesha. And the genre-bending star is set to continue that momentum well into next year, too.

As well as announcing his own headline run across America and his native Canada on the Death Of A Tour (supporting 2020 debut album Death Of An Optimist), grandson will also be hitting huge venues supporting both Imagine Dragons and Avril Lavigne.

Of his headline run, the musician – real name Jordan Benjamin – writes: "I spent the last two years begging for an opportunity to bring this character and these songs to life, and it’s finally coming true. bringing my little sis Royal & The Serpent with me and some other special artists."

Death Of A Tour takes place in February, March and April 2022, while the Imagine Dragons dates happen beforehand, and the Avril shows take place afterwards in May.
