Foo Fighters tease longer song snippet and possible new lyrics

It’s happening! Foo Fighters have just shared a longer (and amazing) snippet of what definitely seems to be a new song.

After sharing 13 seconds of something last week, today (April 18) the band have posted a 25-second teaser, along with an extension of those original words. Last week it was, ‘Are you thinking what I’m thinking?’ but a new video now reads: ‘Are you thinking what I’m thinking / Are you feeling what I’m feeling / This is happening now’ before cutting to the Foos logo. New lyrics, then?!

As we previously reported, Foo Fighters hadn’t alluded to new music since the tragic passing of Taylor Hawkins last year, but they did say at the end of 2022 “that we’re going to be a different band going forward”.

And they’ve got plenty of tour dates coming up – the first of which is on May 24 – so it seems as though we’re going to find out very soon just what that ‘different band’ looks and possibly sounds like.
