Listen to the first two singles from Taylor Hawkins and Matt Cameron's new Nighttime Boogie Association collaboration.
Two of the best drummers and musicians in rock have joined forces for a brand-new project, the Nighttime Boogie Association.
Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins and Pearl Jam/Soundgarden's Matt Cameron have just unveiled a pair of singles – Long In The Tooth and The Path We're On – via their own Keep It Trippy Records to launch the epic collaboration.
Taylor and Matt switched up their roles for the writing and performing of both tracks, with the Foos man handling lyric duties on Long In The Tooth, and Matt taking care of the music.
Pearl Jam's sticksman, meanwhile, wrote the music and lyrics for The Path We're On, also handling drums, guitars and vocals while Taylor performed the drum intro plus lead vocals and keyboards. How ace is that?
