Foo Fighters appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend as the musical guests. Instead of performing songs from their 2017 album, Concrete And Gold, Dave Grohl started proceedings with a stripped back version of Everlong.

The rest of the band then join in with the frontman as they play a medley of Darlene Love’s 1963 classic hit Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and Vince Guaraldi’s Linus And Lucy.

Last month it was announced that the rockers will be up for two Grammy Awards in the new year. They've been nominated in the Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song categories for their summer smash single, Run. Winners will be announced on Sunday, January 28 in a live ceremony from New York’s Madison Square Garden.
