After announcing last week two very special Taylor Hawkins tribute shows in London and Los Angeles, Foo Fighters have now confirmed the first wave of special guests for the former gig.

Taking place at Wembley Stadium on September 3, the legendary drummer will be honoured by the likes of Liam Gallagher, Josh Homme, Chrissie Hynde, Geddy Lee, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Wolfgang Van Halen and many more amazing artists, plus a special appearance by Dave Chappelle – see the full list of names so far on the poster below.

Tickets for Wembley go on sale this Friday, June 17, at 9am local time, with the shows benefiting charities chosen by the Hawkins family (beneficiaries to be announced soon).

Meanwhile, if you're hoping to attend the Taylor tribute in LA, the first round of guests is coming at 9am PT, so keep your eyes peeled…

"My deepest thanks and admiration go out to the global Foo Fighters community and Taylor's fans far and wide for the outpouring of love each and every one of you have shown our beloved Taylor," reads a statement from Alison Hawkins. "Your kindness has been an invaluable comfort for my family and me during this time of unimaginable grief.

"As Taylor's wife, and on behalf of our children, I want to share how much you meant to him and how dedicated he was to 'knocking your socks off' during every performance. Taylor was honoured to be a pair of the Foo Fighters and valued his dream role in the band every minute of his 25 years with them. We consider every band member and the extended Foo Fighters team our family.

"Taylor's endearing spirit and deep love of music will live on forever through the collaborations he so enjoyed having with other musicians and the catalog of songs he contributed to and created.

"In celebration of his life, it is now up to all of us who loved him most to honour Taylor's legacy and the music he gave us.

"Thank you again for your love and sympathy. Taylor loved all of you and we love you too."
