Florence Road release new single, Miss

Florence Road have released a brand-new single, Miss.

The Irish quartet have followed up this year’s Fall Back EP with a beautiful and brooding new effort, along with a performance video entitled live from the spare bedroom. And it’s very much in keeping with the group’s approach to creativity – as you can see below, they’re big on jamming things out.

“All of our brains work really quickly,” says vocalist/guitarist Lily Aron. “We just follow a feeling or what feels right and what makes it so exciting is that there’s no parameters on our music. We go from playing the piano, maybe writing some harmonies or else it could be the four of us just full on in the shed, rocking out.”

Reflecting on the year Florence Road have had – which includes playing with everyone from Olivia Rodrigo to sombr, Wallows and Royel Otis – Lily enthuses, “It’s kind of mad that us four random girls from Wicklow are here with opportunities like this. We have had such incredible support from everyone and feel very grateful for everything that is happening.”
