Magnolia Park announce 2025 North American tour with Hot Milk
Magnolia Park are performing across North America next year for The Vamp Tour, and they’re bringing along Hot Milk, Savage Hands and South Arcade.
Buckfast, sweaty stripteases and the endless joy of citrus fruit – it’s all in a day’s work for Hot Milk
Last week, Hot Milk put the crown on their King And Queen Of Gasoline era with two sold-out shows at London's KOKO and a huge hometown gig at Manchester's O2 Ritz. Having spent as much of last year on the road as physically possible, the dynamic duo of Hannah Mee and Jim Shaw – hitting up America, Australia and Europe – have perfected tour life to a tee.
And with more U.S. shows coming up – including slots at Adjacent and Lollaplooza fests, we thought we'd find out what life in a van is like with Hot Milk, and why oranges are a necessity for fun.
The golden rule on tour is…
"If you want to go somewhere, just fucking go there or you’ll be waiting around forever. And don’t shit on the bus."
The one phrase you’re likely to hear on repeat on tour is…
"I need to poo. I'm hungry. Check the master tour."
The first thing we do when we get to a venue is…
"Find good coffee and find the nearest bar.
Our dressing room music of choice is…
"Drum'n'bass, heavy metal... anything that makes the blood pump round our body at breakneck speed.
The one essential rider request is…
"Rum for Hannah and tequila for Jim."

The atmosphere just before we go onstage is…
"Argumentative, loving, manic. We go through a spectrum of emotions."
The one thing that annoys everyone on tour is…
"When we leave stuff at venues! It happened once in Austria where we had to drive five hours back!"
Our favourite thing to watch on tour is…
"Watch Tom (Paton, bass) do a striptease every night out of his sweaty stage clothes."
We pass our free time before shows by…
"Drinking and playing fun games like 'Finish this Hot Milk lyric' or 'Who can throw this orange on the shelf?'"
The saddest thing about leaving tour to go home is…
"No more orange on the shelf. Also leaving our beautiful, loving, welcoming fans behind, and missing the party atmosphere."
