Descendents have had to cancel their planned European tour after Milo Aukerman recently suffered a “mild heart attack”.

The band have confirmed that the singer is “doing fine”, though he’ll “need a few weeks to recover” before they can hit the road again.

“We are truly sorry, but we have to cancel the upcoming European shows,” they say. “Our singer, Milo, had a mild heart attack last night. He’s doing fine, and is expected to make a full recovery from surgery, but will need a few weeks to recover before we can hit the road again. Hope to see you soon.”

Since posting the statement, Milo and Bill Stevenson have also uploaded a couple of video updates from hospital, where the vocalist jokes that, “I’m alive!” and they share that they plan to come back to Europe “not today, not tomorrow, but soon”.

Get well soon, Milo!
