Dave Grohl surprised fans in London on Friday night (June 20) by appearing onstage at Kim Deal’s Roundhouse show.
The Foo Fighters man came out towards the end of the Pixies/Breeders icon’s set in Camden, telling Kim: “I’ll sing whatever you ask me to sing. I’ll do whatever you ask me to do.” They settled on a run-through of Pixies’ Surfer Rosa single Gigantic – which you can see fan footage of below.
Foos are set to properly return to the stage in October – with a currently-unknown drummer, as they “let go” of Josh Freese last month. Dave also recently teamed up with Ed Sheeran on new song Drive, for the F1 film soundtrack, so things look like they’re very much ramping up once again…
