Bullet For My Valentine have collaborated on a new honey mead called Waking The Demon
Bullet For My Valentine have announced that they are releasing their own honey mead.
Teaming up with Lyme Bay Winery, the Welsh metallers have created Waking The Demon honey mead, which is described on the official website as having "a rich honey flavour with balanced acidity, honeyed notes and a backing of gentle spice."
Mead is the oldest recorded alcoholic drink and has a long connection with metal. Festivals like Bloodstock sell mead at their bars, and Amon Amarth frontman Johan Hegg's Viking company Grimfrost brew their own batches.

"Bullet for My Valentine has commissioned a mead as a drink they love and feel their fans will love too," reads the Waking The Demon website.
"Waking The Demon Honey Mead is a ferment of honey, water and spices to create a smooth, rich drink which can be enjoyed on its own or mixed as a base for cocktails.
"Like the Demon, there is hidden strength here (14.5% ABV) and not to be toyed with!"
A number of bands have released their own alcoholic beverages in recent years. Most notably Iron Maiden's Trooper empire, but everyone from Deftones and Megadeth to IDLES and Coheed & Cambria released their own beers in 2019.
