BABYMETAL have announced a couple of very special Japan shows to mark the end of their triumphant world tour.
The trio have been on the road a whole lot in support of 2023 album THE OTHER ONE, and will be bringing this particular tour to a close at Okinawa Convention Center across two nights. These shows go by the name BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 – 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND – 43, and take place on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24.
Announcing the gigs, a statement on their website sums up that BABYMETAL’s impressive world tour so far has consisted of “25 countries around the world, with a total of 94 performances in Japan and abroad, and a total headline tour attendance of over 240,000 people, excluding festivals and guest act appearances”.
Now, they add, “The final leg of their world tour, BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 – 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND – 43 will be held at the end of the tour. The announcement came with a poster for the show featuring the iconic Fox Shisa.”
This doesn’t mean that we won’t see BABYMETAL again after these Japan dates, though. In fact, the trio have confirmed a whole bunch of summer European shows, including Download Festival in June.
