Watch 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN on July 24, and prepare for the live album in October
At the start of 2021, BABYMETAL played 10 shows at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, as part of the celebrations for their 10-year anniversary. With distancing and masks in place, they did the shows in the round at the legendary Tokyo arena, seven years since they first headlined it. Naturally, being BABYMETAL, it was more than simply shows. Last weekend, they streamed a director’s cut of the event, and now they’re doing an encore version on July 24 (at 8pm UK time) with even more mayhem.
Not only that, they’ve revealed that they captured the whole thing for a new live album, 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN, available for pre-order when you buy tickets to the new stream.
The record will be available from October 1, with a special double vinyl edition following in November.
