Baby Said have unleashed a new music video to mark the release of their debut album BS.

With the record dropping today (March 7), the rising Italian/Punjabi sister duo – 20-year-old Veronica and 18-year-old Jess Pal – are sort of showing what their relationship is like in the accompanying promo for Dead To Me…

“When we sat down with the director Tom Knibbs to discuss the video idea for Dead To Me we decided that we should fake kidnapped and pretend to bury each other,” Baby Said explain in a joint statement. “As the sisters who definitely never argue, we both thought this was a great idea.

“We managed to get the use of a derelict pub in Portsmouth called The Invincible which was being demolished as we arrived. We quickly filmed all the interior shots and headed down to Hayling Island beach to dig a grave. What we didn’t realise was that just beneath the sand surface it was all stones and it took us about an hour to dig a hole big enough while the temperature dropped to minus three degrees.

“The hoods we wore were both painted with the I and exclamation mark from our Baby Said logo which was a fun way to give us both a different identity.”
