Avenged Sevenfold unveil their annual Misfits cover for Halloween
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Hear members of Avenged Sevenfold on their new Halloween cover of Misfits’ Some Kinda Hate.
Avenged Sevenfold’s work with Call Of Duty continues, as the band have just dropped new track Magic as part of the Season 01 patch for Black Ops 7.
Surprise! Avenged Sevenfold have released a brand-new song, Magic.
Following 2023 album Life Is But A Dream…, the Huntington Beach metallers have teamed back up with Call Of Duty to share a new track as part of the Season 01 patch for Black Ops 7. And just like LIBAD…, it’s one hell of a trippy ride…
“Our new song, Magic, is out everywhere on streaming now,” A7X posted on their website. “Thanks to our friends at Call of Duty BO7 for letting us have some fun yesterday. Listen to the new song, watch the 360 VR music video, and enjoy the lyric video with incredible single art by Wes Lang here.”
Of course, this isn’t A7X’s first collab with COD, with the band
releasing a string of original tracks over the years: from 2010’s Not Ready To
Die to 2012’s Carry On, 2015’s Jade Helm and 2018’s Mad Hatter.
Listen to Magic below:
At the start of 2025, frontman M. Shadows said that Avenged hadn’t “really thought” about another new album just yet, and that as well as playing some shows the plan was to “probably just spend some time with our families, and there’s always that creative itch, and jotting down ideas – whether it’s on your iPhone or whether it’s into Pro Tools, and just having this sort of bag that Santa’s got over his shoulder, and maybe dig through the presents at some point and see if there’s anything that’s like, ‘Oh! Let’s get into it!’ But right now I think it’s just in accumulation mode.”
